Annual Father-and-Son Football World Cup

Falcons' annual Father-and-Son Football World Cup took place on Friday the 20th of May 2011. We had amazing weather and all boys in Year 2 & 3, from both the Pre-Prep and Prep participated in this greatly anticipated event.

We saw lots of goals, thrills, spills and a few rough tackles. The boys did however apologise to the dads and all was forgiven. As in the past and in most sporting codes the South African team walked away with the trophies. This time however they actually won the trophies and were allowed to keep them.

 A great big thank you to all the dads for taking time off work to enjoy the day with their sons. Thank you also to all the staff at the Prep and Pre-Prep for all the hard work and those male teachers volunteering to act as "surrogate dads" for those parents not able to attend.
