The simple joys of playing with a toy, is something most of us take for granted. Having toys around the house, sometimes so many that we trip over them, is a gift we often overlook.
The Watoto Village and Orphanage in Uganda are in the process of building a Nursery school for orphans of genocide, civil war and victims of the HIV/AIDS epidemic. They need toys, both educational and toys for just simply having fun. What can you do all the way from the UK?
The answer is simple: TOYS and lots of them!

Do our children need all of them? Do they still play with all of them? Have they outgrown some of them? If you would like a hand in de-cluttering your children’s bedrooms, playrooms or toy-chests, help is at hand. Just drop-off any excess, unwanted or toys your children have outgrown at the Falcons Pre-Preparatory School for Boys and we will make sure they are sent to The Watoto Orphanage in Uganda. Please do not send any WOODEN TOYS, as they will not be allowed out of the country. All donations should be at the school before or on the 3rd of March 2010 as the flight to Uganda leaves on the 4th. If you would like further details about the charity or some background information, please click on the Watoto logo below.
You do not have to be a current parent at The Falcons to donate, simply ring the doorbell and we will gladly forward the toys to the Orphanage. Thank you in advance for your generosity.
