Happy Birthday Captain Tom Moore!

All our boys in Pre-Reception have loved hearing about Captain Tom Moore and how he set about raising such an amazing amount money for the NHS.  We have been following his story closely and to help him celebrate his 100th birthday on Thursday 30th April, our Pre-Reception boys have been busy making him some cheerful birthday cards which we will be sending on to him.

Ali included the painting of a rainbow in his card to Captain Moore with his mum explaining that ‘Ali started off very excited with making the card for Captain Moore as he was also making a thank you card for his auntie.  He wanted to draw a rainbow – where we live in an apartment block, a lot of windows have rainbows and Ali has been asking why everyone has a rainbow so I explained this to him. Therefore today, when I told him about Captain Moore, he wanted to draw a rainbow.’

Well done boys!  We look forward to seeing more of your lovely colourful cards!
